MOAR you say?!
Well, in case you come across this and want to know a little more about me ^^, you are in luck as today I feel like sharing!

Also, for Sara, who keeps asking me to update this!

Well, firstly, literature and academia are my life. I don't care if that makes me a geek in the truest sense of the word, but I could not settle for a life without them. I aim high, really high, which means that sometimes, I suffer setbacks, but better to have loved and lost...

That said, I have (what I hope) is an eclectic range of interests. I love heavy metal and Industrial music, watching American TV programmes like House and Buffy (RIP Buffy - best show ever), going to the cinema, buying records, watching anime, going out drinking with my friends and writing really, HIDEOUSLY bad fanfiction (that I share with no one!).

Some of the authors I have read recently include Nabokov, Donna Tartt, Chuck Palahniuk, Dave Eggars, Doris Lessing, Tove Jansson and many more. I will be studying English at university in 2008, I got my unconditional offer to my dream university two days ago ^^ I am still in (wonderful) shock.

Well, I hope that rounds me out as a person a bit more,

*~shouting into the LJ wilderness~*

Wow a post, that's very seldom!

Congratulations on Oxford!! *hugs* That's anyone's dream school. You got to tell me everything there is to know about Oxford when you arrive in 2008, don't miss any ounce of detail.

I've only heard of Nabokov and Chuck. Are the rest of the other writers contemporary?

Well, Doris Lessing is contemporary-ish! She won the nobel prize for literature this year. As for the others, they are both contemporary too ^^ I can't wait to tell you all about Oxford - I have a lot to write about!

I have got your letter but I haven't opened it yet - I'm being good! I'm so sorry that I haven't sent yours yet but I've been so busy with work (full time!!!) and uni applications that I haven't had a chance. Please forgive me! I hope you have a great day tomorrow, and you can expect to get a package in the New Year.

Merry Christmas!

*love and hugs*

Merry Christmas!! It's ironic how I just spent Christmas Day watching 13 hours of Stargate SG-1! I think it's going to become a new obsession ;p

Don't worry about sending it late, it happens.
